Heubel Shaw Raises $45,000 For Breast Cancer
Heubel Shaw took 2015 to a whole new level by becoming Flagship Sponsors in 3 of their locations for American Cancer Society Making Strides - Memphis, Kansas City, and St. Louis. Their partnership with American Cancer helped to raise $45,000 in the fight against Breast Cancer.
Heubel Material Handling has again joined forces with the American Cancer Society to assist in raising funds for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program.
Last year, with your help, we were able to raise over $27,000 for breast cancer research and finding a cure. 100% of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program. This charity helps provide transportation assistance to and from treatment, free lodging for those having to travel long distances for treatment, workshops that teach beauty techniques to female patients to help them deal with appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment, emotional support programs that connect newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with survivors, cancer education classes, research, prevention assistance, and an online cancer survivors support network.
