Territory: Based out of Kansas City, covering surrounding locations.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

Out of high school, Clinton joined the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. During that time, he earned his Airframe and Powerplant Licenses. After his time in the military, he took a job as a motorcycle mechanic in Kansas City where he received a master certification through BMW North America. HEUBEL SHAW welcomed him onto our team as a service technician 14 years ago. For the last two years, Clinton has represented the company as our full-time technical trainer.

WHAT SETS HIM APART:

Clinton has always had an interest in taking things apart and putting them back together. Every job that he has held since high school has indulged his mechanical inclination and curiosity. Since then he has operated almost every type of material handling equipment from hand pallet jacks to 15,000 lb. articulating lifts. His intrinsic desire to discover “how” and “why” all this equipment functions is what makes Clinton an excellent trainer. Curiosity allows him to identify with novice learners, while his established knowledge base makes him ready to answer questions from those with varying experience levels.

ABOUT CLINTON CROSS:

Clinton is the father of two children, both college age. He likes to joke that his hobby is writing his kids big checks every month. He has an excellent sense of humor, and when you really get down to the brass tacks of it, a true spirit for adventure. Clinton can regularly be seen on his KTM adventure motorcycle riding through ruggedly beautiful landscapes in Arkansas, Nevada, and Colorado. While he enjoys the travel and nature, these destinations share the same important appeal- plenty of outdoor places to climb! Clinton is a rock-climbing enthusiast, even claiming, “If I could generate a $1000 a month, I would literally live out of a van and hang off rocks by my fingertips”.
